Key Information

The project focused on improving education service delivery by strengthening governance, accountability, and community engagement within the education system. It worked closely with local authorities, school management committees, and communities to enhance planning, budgeting, and monitoring processes. By building the capacity of district and school-level actors, the initiative aimed to ensure that resources were allocated more effectively and that schools were better equipped to meet the needs of all learners, particularly those from marginalized groups.

In addition, the project promoted transparency and citizen participation to improve the quality and equity of education services. Through training, community dialogues, and monitoring mechanisms, it empowered parents and community members to hold education providers accountable. Ultimately, the initiative sought to contribute to a more responsive and inclusive education system that delivered improved learning outcomes and more equitable access for every child.
