Key Information

Members of the SDG4 Youth & Student Network are activists, advocates, elected student representatives, leaders, students, school leaders, teachers, and young professionals who are actively working within youth and student organizations in their local and national communities to improve the quality and accessibility of education.

As one of the key stakeholders in education, youth and students are key partners in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) on ensuring quality education for all. The SDG4 Youth & Student Network is an inclusive, and representative platform of youth and student groups designed to ensure their meaningful participation in shaping global education policies within the renewed Global Education Cooperation Mechanism (GCM) and the global apex body for education—the SDG4-Education 2030 High-Level Steering Committee (HLSC). The Network is tasked with championing and taking forward the Youth Declaration on Transforming Education.
