Sports for health
- P Project/Program
? Activity Status: Unknown
Key Information
Whilst Phase I achieved strong SRHR outcomes, in Phase II, Amref will reach 4,500 adolescent girls and boys in Dagoretti and Embakasi over three years, using sports and physical activity to engage on SRHR topics, provide personal, educational, and career development training, and integrate health service provision. New activities in Phase II include supporting boys as well as girls, increasing our focus on hard-to-reach groups such as adolescent mothers and those living in informal settlements, developing our sports provision within schools, improving development pathways for talented athletes, and strengthening the links between sports, life skills, and future development.
