Key Information

This project aims to promote gender equality in and through the education sector by awareness and capacity building for education policy makers, school leaders and teachers, and mainstreaming gender in teacher education to foster gender-sensitive and gender-responsive future teachers. Although the project targets five pilot countries: Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan, its outputs and outcomes may be replicated and adapted to benefit other countries with similar conditions in the Asia-Pacific region and even beyond.
