  • P Project/Program

? Activity Status: Unknown

Key Information

Using the REFLECT methodology, this project focused on changing harmful gender-based beliefs about young women and men and gave them the agency to change harmful gender norms. It gave young people literacy and numeracy skills while empowering them for social change. Specifically, it enhanced the skills of participants to influence the workload to be more evenly distributed between the genders and to reform other harmful gender norms in communities. In addition, it equipped participants with the knowledge and skills to be active citizens and to defend human rights. To address the livelihood needs of participants, the project also facilitated the development of participants’ technical/vocational skills in agribusiness, group savings, and revolving credit schemes.
