Key Information

On 2021 the Ministry of Education in Nicaragua launched their pedagogical booklet on women en rights for primary and secundary education, the booklet titlted  “Derechos y Dignidad de las Mujeres, Para vivir en Dignidad y Paz”, has the objective of stregthening knowledge of women and girls rights among youth and young adults. The initiative aims to contribute to more equal power in gender relationships. The booklet launch was accompanied by an educational event in Managua with the attendance of school community. 

The booklet also will be part of the new curriculum plan and class focused on women's rights, named  “Derechos y Dignidad de las Mujeres”, which was recently incorporated into education plans.
