School counselling units for psychosocial attention and peaceful coexistence at school
- P Project/Program
? Activity Status: Unknown
Key Information
This project aimed to strengthen the capacities and impact of the 14 counselling units created by the Ministry of Education, in two components: psychosocial attention and prevention of gender-based violence, across 475 schools. A consultant worked with girls, boys, and adolescent members of the
school committees, teachers, and parents, and developed a guideline to prevent violence and social risks, as well as a protocol of attention for situations of rights violations. Through an online space, members of the school community were granted access to information on this topic, including responsible masculinities and the prevention of violence. During COVID-19, an online platform allowed for the continued training of students, teachers, and parents alongside face-to-face training.
