Key Information

Held yearly in region of Ticino, Switzerland, our annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) event tailored exclusively for girls in middle school, aged 10 to 14. Our primary goal is to inform, inspire, educate, and empower young girls, along with their parents, to explore and consider a promising future in the exciting world of STEAM disciplines.

At the gathering, we welcome approximately 70 enthusiastic girls from across Ticino. Throughout the event, attendees engage in hands-on workshops, captivating presentations, and interactive activities led by BPW accomplished women in various STEAM fields. These experiences not only ignite curiosity but also encourage girls to envision themselves as future scientists, engineers, mathematicians, artists, and innovators.

We aim to break down stereotypes, provide role models, and nurture the confidence needed to pursue STEAM careers. This annual event in Ticino serves as a catalyst for a brighter future, where girls are actively shaping the world through their passion for science, technology, engineering, and the arts.
