Key Information

Many young vulnerable girls get pregnant, some while in school. However, the African society puts a stigma on such girls preventing them from returning school. If such children, sometimes as young as 13 years old, are denied the right to education, they are doomed to spend the rest of their lives in abject poverty. ARK provides a second chance to young mothers by providing them with special scholarships as well as special trained mentors to guide them through the process of returning to school or acquire meaningful training that leads to independence.
