ConnecTeach is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing education as the driver of change. By equipping teachers and students with the skills needed to become local leaders and changemakers, we provide a self-sustaining solution to the issues that have remained barriers to progress. We focus in particular on barriers to girls' education by addressing societal norms and biases that influence individual teacher and student behavior, limiting the influence that girls and women wield. We believe that educational programs should go beyond teaching content, emphasizing critical real world problem-solving skills that are powerful drivers of positive change. We are committed to delivering these programs to empower teachers and students in the world’s poorest communities, setting in motion cycles of positive change to resolve the underlying causes of injustice.
